DC UNIVERSE ONLINE: LONG LIVE THE LEGION (2020)

DC Universe Online (DCUO) is the free-to-play action combat massive multiplayer online game (MMOG) set in the fictional universe of DC Comics, developed by Dimensional Ink Games and co-published by Daybreak Game Company and WB Games. It also spawned a comic book series.
Typically, MMOGs involve large numbers of players, often hundreds or thousands, on the same server. These games can be found for most network-capable platforms, including the personal computer, video game console, or smartphones and other mobile devices.
The player creates a new, original character that interacts with the iconic heroes and villains of DC Comics, who is then thrown into the world of DC Universe Online, progressing on to missions to increase their level and skill in various content.
The game releases various scenarios on a regular basis for gameplay, named episodes. The dedicated Legion of Super-Heroes episode involves a battle (alongside theTeen Titans and Static) with Emerald Empress, Validus and Mordru, who also previously appeared in an episode featuring Justice League Dark.

As the game's description states: In the 31st Century, the Legion of Super-Heroes is locked in battle with the timeless sorcerer Mordru. Unable to defeat his rivals, Mordru devises a new plan: to win the future by destroying the past! The Legionnaires come up with a brilliant plan: to call for help from the heroes from the past that Mordru seeks to destroy.
Saturn Girl, Cosmic Boy, and Lightning Lad now look to you for support to face Mordru, Validus, Emerald Empress, and more. Will you answer their call?

As the game begins, players are introduced to the concept of the Legion and its founder members Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl and Lightning Lad. Note these are the current Bendis Legionnaires. There's also an artifact that acts and looks like Quislet, and a fancy Legion HQ.

Legionnaires are told of their missions by either Supergirl, Brainiac 5 or Computo (the Danielle Foccart version).
The missions involve battles with Emerald Empress, Validus and Mordru. From emails, it is evident Rond Vidar and Harmonia Li are also among the cast of characters.

The Legion monitor board and a Legion time sphere. Players have access to two types of Legion-related styles for their character costumes: one based on Cosmic Boy, the other on the Empress.

In one task, players are asked to help defeat Shadow Daemons which are hunting Legion Academy students. Players are asked to go undercover by posing as students, and to do this they have to go to a special phone booth where they are given the form of random trainees.

A selection of items that can be bought by the player, and also rewards, which include Quislet.

As the missions progress, a new deputy leader is called for. Current deputy Brainiac 5 asks for a vote. While players consider who to choose, information on various Legionnaires is provided (shown below). Note the membership is a mix of current Legionnaires and those from previous versions. Interestingly, Sensor is referred to in the plural, with previous game dialogue referring to her multiple identities (probably as Projectra, Sensor Girl and Sneckie). Andromeda was also mentioned but not described in the deputy leader vote information.

Players can collect items from the Subs, and augment themselves with various Legion-related items. And of course the Flight Ring is essential for the ability to fly.

NOTE: in the non-Legion DCUO game, the central villain is Brainiac, whose identity is Vril Dox. This is a different version to the Coluan who led L.E.G.I.O.N., although in some instances he has actually taken on the form of the comic book character.
