UPPER DECK: DC ANNUAL SERIES
(2023-24)

THIS was Upper Deck's inaugural DC Comics trading card set under its new licensing deal with Warner Bros. Discovery.
   The set was a "year in review" for DC - celebrating major characters, storylines, and moments from the comics over the covered period.
   It was released in multiple formats: hobby boxes, blaster boxes, and also digitally via Upper Deck e-Pack.
   There were 100 character cards in the base set and 100 variant cover cards, along with assorted parallel, numbered, lenticular and visual effect card gimmicks.
   As well, the set had a variety of thematic insert subsets: #1 Spot (covers of #1 issues), Beast World (related to Titans: Beast World), Birds of Prey, World's Finest, and Star Rookies. Among the latter is Dreamer, the sole Legion connection to this set. There's a base version and a 'sparkle' parallel.
