SUPER-PETS: DC
DIRECT SOFT TOYS
(2000-01)
AT the tail end of
the Beanie Baby craze that swept the nation, DC DIRECT began to
market boxed plush figures of its characters. The four Super Pet
animals were given the soft toy treatment: Krypto, Streaky, Comet
(all in 2000) and Beppo (2001).
This version of Comet is the only licensed figure
of the Super-Horse so far produced (not counting a weird version
of a Comet described as Wonder Woman's pet, produced by Funko).
