COLLEEN DORAN

Colleen Doran is an American writer-artist and cartoonist who has illustrated hundreds of comics, books and magazines, including the autobiographical graphic novel of Marvel Comics editor and writer Stan Lee. She is a long-time fan of the Legion and was a member of the Legion APA Interlac before she turned professional. Keith Giffen offered her a job at DC Comics after seeing her work there, but she had to refuse as she had committed to another project. Eventually she became the regular illustrator for the VALOR series. Her love of the Element Lad character is well-known.
