SIGNED by artist Alex Ross, this 2004 piece was available as a lithograph or giclee print.
   It shows in graphic detail a showdown between the earliest through to the most recent DC Comics superheroes and villains.
   A total of 72 characters were presented in this painting, originally created for the book titled MYTHOLOGY, which showcases Ross' DC Comics artwork. The title of the piece is embossed in black.
   The 24 ¾ x 33 inch lithograph was limited to 500 copies, and the giclee limited to 100, both coming with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Alex Ross studio, as well as a list of characters.
   Legionnaires shown include Shrinking Violet, Wildfire, Dawnstar, Shadow Lass and Star Boy, while the Fatal Five are on the villains' side.
